How can I change the language in the swidg app?
You can customize the language in the general settings of your phone. At this moment only EN and NL are supported. If you use another language on your phone EN will be selected as default language.
Does swidg support rewards?
Riding together is great in itself because it reduces your expenses and strengthens the bond between colleagues with inspiring conversations during the time you spend commuting. An extra reward system is entirely up to your employer. swidg supports this by making current trip information available to the customer (=employer) in order to award the rewards based on that. swidg will register parameters like frequency of carpooling, with how many passengers, … The employer or institution can then customize what behavior results in which amount of coins and what can be selected from the shop for how many coins. If it is active, you can follow your status under the Rewards button at the bottom right of the navigation bar.
How can I delete my account?
In accordance with GDPR, each user has control over their own account. You can also delete your account completely from the platform at any time. You can do this by going to My Profile. At the bottom you will find the button to delete your account.
!! PLEASE NOTE: this will delete all your data on the platform and you will no longer have access to the platform. This can also not be undone !!
Does the passenger pay the driver?
swidg deliberately does not support this. The platform is free for the users. The employer pays for the use of the platform. If you do not have a car but still want to carpool, you can always treat the driver with coffee cakes ;-)
