Adjust trip schedule and chat
The trip schedule (start / arrival time and pickup times) can be modified, once the matches are selected. swidg will suggest a logical order to pickup passengers with an indication of time. These times are only indications because swidg does not take into real-time traffic information. Only the driver can modify the times. The passengers can use the chat function to request a modification of the time schedule. Each participant will see its individual time in the trip agenda as the start or pickup time.
Especially the start and arrival time of every trip (to the destination and back are two trips) are relevant for Follow your driver functionality, because the time window of sharing real-time location data is related to those times.
To return to the screen with the trip arrangements from the trip agenda :
Select the specific day in the Trip agenda.
Press on one of the avatars of the planned trip in the middle of the screen.
In the screen of the carpool request, each time box can be adjusted by you as the driver individually. Bear in mind when changing one, the others are not recalculated. Hence you have to make sure that the arrival time is not before the start time.
If the changes are done for an already confirmed trip, than no explicit save action needs to be done. The modified times are reflected in the agenda of the participants instantly.
Per trip participants can chat by tapping on the chat button in the right top corner of the map. Participants will be notified when a new message is added to the chat.
